Sam and Karen Karnatz

Sam and Karen Karnatz moved to Lake County in June of 2006. Sam is orginally from Florida but has lived in California for over 15 years. Karen is a bay area native, living almost her entire life in the east bay. Sam and Karen left their home in the bay area to pursue their dream of living in a small community and running their own business.

Sam has enjoyed cooking since he was a child. He worked his way through college as a cook in a fraternity house, making breakfasts and dinners for 75-100 hungry students. He is now using his talent in the Arbor House Inn kitchen, where nothing but first-rate breakfasts are served!

Karen continues to work full-time in a service industry, but very much enjoys coming home to spend time and converse with the guests. She also enjoys traveling to Lake County wineries and has been known to take guests wine tasting.

Both Karen and Sam are excited about this new chapter in their life together and welcome everyone into their home.
